That ends Wednesday.
On March 11, 2026 at 10:00 AM PST, IOD Nations opens its doors and its camera to every pro-democracy citizen on earth. This is not a lecture. This is not a broadcast. This is a live, open, unfiltered conversation about the most urgent question of our time:
How do we unite online and participate in real democratic decision-making right now, before it’s too late?

What Online Citizen-Led Democracy looks like in practice not theory, not someday, but now
How citizens can unite across borders, time zones, and platforms to become a genuine democratic force
What real decision-making power looks like when it shifts from institutions to informed, organized citizens
What IOD Nations is building the Press Nation, the Law Nation, the Youth Nation, the Women’s Nation, the Climate Nation and how you can be part of it
The Iran war, the CBS acquisition, the collapse of press freedom and what citizens can actually do about it this week
Bring your questions. Bring your frustrations. Bring your ideas. There are no wrong answers in a room full of people who still believe democracy is worth fighting for.
Why This Moment Matters
We are living through a convergence of crises that no single institution is equipped to handle alone:
An unauthorized war is being waged in Iran launched without congressional approval, sustained on shifting justifications, with thousands of lives already lost.
CBS News has been acquired by a company whose regulatory approval was secured through payments to the very president who sued them. Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund is in the ownership chain.
The RSF World Press Freedom Index has reached a historic low. Self-censorship in newsrooms is up over 60%. Judges are being threatened. Lawyers face retaliation. The constitutional guardrails are under coordinated assault.
And yet one million pro-democracy citizens, organized online, acting strategically, have the power to change all of it.
That is not optimism. That is math.
5 to 10 emails. 1 to 2 times a week. Directed at the right people. Multiplied by one million voices. This is what shifts the calculus of power. And it starts with conversations exactly like the one we are having on Wednesday.
This Is Your Room
IOD Nations does not exist to tell citizens what to think. It exists to give citizens the infrastructure to act.
This live session is yours. Ask the hard questions. Challenge the ideas. Propose something bold. Tell us what is happening in your community, your country, your corner of the world. The International Online Democratic Journalism Nation, the IOD Law Nation, the IOD Press Nation — these are not built by leaders. They are built by people exactly like you who decided that passive observation was no longer enough.
The most powerful thing about Online Citizen-Led Democracy is this: it does not require permission. It does not require a party, a platform, a billionaire backer, or a seat at an institutional table. It requires citizens who show up.

What Comes After
This is not a one-time event. Every conversation we have builds the foundation of something the world has never had before: a permanent, online, citizen-led democratic infrastructure that exists beyond the reach of any government, corporation, or billionaire.
The IOD Nations movement is growing. The Press Nation is taking shape. The Law Nation is organizing. Citizens across the United States, Europe, Ukraine, and beyond are asking the same question at the same moment:
If not now then when? If not us then who?
